Wide World of Standards: RFP for Interoperable Learning Record projects
Hello MedBiquitous community,
Hello MedBiquitous community,
We are excited to announce Martin Komenda as the guest presenter at our February webinar episode.
Continuing our series of blog posts about things going on in the world of standards, this month I look at the Total Learning Architecture (TLA) effort from the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative (ADL).
With the onset of the New Year, we recognize that schedules and planning deadlines can quickly become overwhelming.
We are starting a new recurring article here on the blog, Wide World of Standards. In these short summaries, I will talk about an effort going on in the standards world and highlight its implications for health professions education. This month I will talk about the T3 Innovation Network, an initiative funded by the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
With planning for MedBiquitous 2020 underway, I wanted to provide a brief update on where we are.
Launching January 21, 2020, MedBiquitous will introduce MedBiquitous Community Connection, a series of free one-hour webinars featuring health professions educators and technology innovators from around the globe.
On September 26, 2019, the MedBiquitous program team convened with a cross-section of international stakeholders in the MedBiquitous community for a Visioning Meeting at the AAMC Headquarters in Washington, DC.
The MedBiquitous program continues to build traction and momentum. In our concerted effort to maintain transparency and strengthen community relationships, we plan to integrate a newsletter into our communication plan. Look for our first newsletter release later this month!
As we continue our transition to the AAMC, we are actively working to update MedBiq.org. We will be updating content that is out-of-date, archiving older material to our wiki, and fixing broken links.
