Launching January 21, 2020, MedBiquitous will introduce MedBiquitous Community Connection, a series of free one-hour webinars featuring health professions educators and technology innovators from around the globe.
On September 26, 2019, the MedBiquitous program team convened with a cross-section of international stakeholders in the MedBiquitous community for a Visioning Meeting at the AAMC Headquarters in Washington, DC.
The MedBiquitous program continues to build traction and momentum. In our concerted effort to maintain transparency and strengthen community relationships, we plan to integrate a newsletter into our communication plan. Look for our first newsletter release later this month!
As we continue our transition to the AAMC, we are actively working to update MedBiq.org. We will be updating content that is out-of-date, archiving older material to our wiki, and fixing broken links.
With the transition of MedBiquitous to AAMC well underway, I wanted to make sure that we keep the community up to date on activities occurring over the next few months as we bring the program back to full operational status.
I’m excited to introduce Jeff Kaminski to the MedBiquitous community. Jeff is the Operations Specialist working on all aspects of the MedBiquitous program.
I want to express my excitement about joining the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) as the Director of Educational Technology and Standards and convener of the MedBiquitous (MedBiq) Community. I am humbled and honored to take on the transition of MedBiq as a program of the AAMC and want to acknowledge the leadership that Valerie Smothers and Peter Greene provided at Johns Hopkins over the years.
Johmarx Patton will join the medical education team at the Association of American Medical Colleges as the Director of Educational Technology and Standards.
